Welcome to OutSTEM, the UK LGBTQ* STEM Network (a lot of acronyms, we know...). If you work in or study science, technology, engineering or maths, and are LGBTQ*, then this is the network for you. Since we're a new site we're not sure exactly what directions we'll go in, but we're hoping that forming a network of LGBTQ* STEM-ers will make it easier to interact with each other, link people with opportunities and increase visibility, as well as helping to provide role models for young people considering STEM careers. We're currently in beta mode, so please be gentle, but feel free to sign up and make yourself a profile - then tell your friends and colleagues to do the same!
